All reptiles within the US are shipped Monday through Wednesday using Federal Express Priority Overnight If there are any issues with the shipping please call me. Do not call Fedex as it will only interfere with ant actions i will need to take. Fedex priority overnight is usually delivered by 9:30, but it can be as late as 12:30 depending on their route. Fedex priority overnight shipping is $50.00. I don’t like to ship dragons after Wednesday because if fedex messes up and they don’t get delivered on Thursday I still have Friday to have someone track them down and get them delivered. If I ship on Thursday and they don’t get delivered on Friday then it is almost impossible to get ahold of anyone on the weekend to track them down and they may sit wherever they are over the weekend.
We can now ship one box containing up to 2 animals for $50.00 almost anywhere in USA. Each additional snake or dragon after the first 2 will be an additional $20.00 for each snake/dragon. For the health and well being of the dragons we will not ship more than animals than will fit comfortably in each container so this is to cover the costs of the larger packaging and the additional shipping costs.
The shipping price includes insulated double walled shipping boxes, (Styrofoam and cardboard), and also heat or cold packs for shipping in inclement weather. Heat packs will be included for shipping in temperatures from 40ºF-50ºF. For shipments when the weather is 85º-95º cold packs will be included. We reserve the right to delay shipping if the temperature is below 40ºF or above 95ºF. We will not ship any animals if the temperature is above 98 degrees or below 40ºF. We put a lot of love and care into raising our animals and we want them to arrive safe and sound, so we would need to wait to ship in better weather. If you know of bad weather in your area please contact us to let us know so we can reschedule your shipping date.
There may also be times/places where guaranteed next day delivery is not available or sometimes during extreme weather where it may be necessary to ship to the nearest FedEx customer center for pick up. These are normally within five to ten miles from your billing zip code. If you cannot be home for delivery please let us know and we may also be able to ship to your nearest FedEx customer center using next day delivery for pick up. If you would prefer to wait until the weather improves please contact us and we can make other arrangements.
Shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer and will not be reimbursed, except in specific circumstances.
Live Arrival is Guaranteed on the First Delivery Attempt
Our animals are guaranteed to be healthy and arrive alive as long as someone is there to sign for the package on first delivery attempt. The satisfaction and live delivery guarantees are void if the buyer is not home to sign for and receive the package as was prearranged. We will communicate with you to arrange all of the shipping details and in writing in order to assure someone is available to receive your animal and avoid any miscommunication.
It is extremely rare, but if the worst should happen and the animal does not survive, you must contact me within 2 hours of delivery with a photo of the dead animal. Also save all of the packaging material since it may be needed to ship them back for insurance purposes. This has never happened to us.
We will provide a refund of the purchase price, not including the shipping costs unless the animnal arrives after the shipping arrival date or a provide a comparable replacement when one is available. It may take some time to provide a comparable replacement due to inventory levels, and the shipping costs of the replacement animal will be the responsibility of the buyer. If you do not contact us within 2 hours of delivery, and do not provide the necessary proof and details, we will be unable to replace or refund your order. A replacement or refund is at our discretion depending on the circumstances.
We are not responsible if FedEx lays it over for a day or two do to unforeseen events, which is very rare. However if the animal does not survive the shipping due to an unscheduled delay we will provide a refund or replacement according to the guidelines in the live arrival guarantee.
